What a difference a couple of days of antibiotics make. Bubba is back to his old, cheery self and full of energy.
After I picked him up and Aunty Courtney gave him a big hello, we discussed what to do for the day. Despite the dreary weather, an impromptu decision was made to go the the Melbourne Zoo. We figured that there wouldn’t be too many people around due to the threat of rain and we weren’t scared of a little rain LOL.
So, we packed up Bubba and off we went.
Bubba had a ball! Not seeing all the interesting animals, oh no, he loved the gardens and dirt and running around. Wriggled like a worm when we tried to get him to sit on the statues to get his picture. All he wanted to do was play in the dirt or sand and walk in the gutters or jump in puddles. He did enjoy looking at some of the animals and I’m sure the animals wondered what was going on when this kid preferred jumping in the puddles in front of their enclosures rather than looking at them.
We were all exhausted by the end of the day but it was well worth it.
Next Saturday, Bubba will test my stamina as he is staying for a whole week!

Glad to hear he was on the mend, a burst eardrum is extremely painful, poor little Bubba!!
Methinks you will be sleeping well at night this week, he’ll be wearing you out….. time for some Nana naps, what? lol
