Jai stayed on Friday night and Courtney and I had a bit to do Saturday morning so he tagged along.
First stop was my work so I could pick up something I’d left behind on my last shift. I just happen to be co-located with the MFB so Bubba thought he was in heaven with the big red trucks – he LOVES trucks.
He got up close and personal with them for the few minutes we were there. Next time, I’ll con some of the firies into showing him inside one.
After we trudged through some display homes for Courtney, Bubba decided he was not going to cooperate so it was time to come home. His baby sister was coming over later in the day for a photo shoot so I wanted him to get a nap and, hopefully, get some photos of the two of them together. He was out like a light within seconds of his head hitting the pillow and he crashed for 2 hours.
When Amélie and his mum and dad arrived, Bubba came to life. However, he wasn’t interested in any photos with Amélie – well not like I had planned. He was curious and occasionally popped his head in to make sure she was OK. “Baby”, he says while he stares at her little face. It’s gorgeous.
Amélie didn’t cooperate much either so we only got a few photos.
