The day after Australia Day, Courtney went to the beach and suggested I meet her and her friend Casey, there with Bubba. It would be his first visit to the beach and I wasn’t sure how he’d react. His father’s first visit to the beach didn’t go so well. He wouldn’t stand on the sand and hated the feel of it on his feet. He squawked and squealed when we took him near the water too, so I figured his son might be the same.
How wrong I was. After a moment analysing the feel of the sand under his feet, he was off – straight to the water. Courtney had to drag him back so we could put his swimmers on. Once she had him in the water, he would not leave. We slathered him in sunscreen and his hat ended up drenched in the surf but what a wonderful time he had.
Aunty Courtney and Casey looked after him really well and showed him a good time. He was still firing on all cylinders when we forced him out of the water to take him home – they were both exhausted! LOL

Looks like he had a fantastic time! LOL re Courtney and Casey being exhausted and Bubba still going! Bet he slept well that night tho!
